Welcome to Out and About Publications, your go-to destination for quality landscapes, cityscapes, nightscapes and transport themed wall art, prints, posters, calendars, cards, and gifts with images sourced from our very own extensive photo library.
Ponteland Print was established in 1989 mainly providing printing and office supplies to local businesses and private individuals. It soon became apparent that there was a local requirement for high quality wedding stationery, and the Wedding Stationery Studio was born. Our wedding stationery range was thought to be the largest in the North East during that time, and with 22,000 products in our office supplies range we could satisfy the needs of many customers.
However, times change, and with the internet and email gaining ground in printing, office supplies and wedding stationery, we turned our attention to our own growing photographic library and diversified into publishing cards, calendars and posters.
Whilst we still supply business stationery, wedding stationery, books and magazines for many customers, we now have our own range of cards and calendars under the name of ‘Out and About Publications’, and our photographic library supplies prints and posters under the name of LeisurePics’.
Transport Photography and Landscapes are our main photographic genres with classic cars and trucks, along with steam trains being of particular interest.
Our growing stock image library is added to on a weekly basis with images from our travels, which, with our interest in modern history includes images which chronicle the historical changes to our environment, be it vehicles & traffic, dress styles, buildings, the changing face of the high street etc.
